ComptaZen

ABOUT

Why this exists

Hafid Saadi is an accounting technician and a software developer, trained in software engineering at 42 Québec. That combination is the reason ComptaZen exists: almost every small business's back office has the same gap — real work still done by hand that software should be doing instead — and almost nobody trying to fix it has actually done the work themselves first.

THE APPROACH

Do it, then build it

Every engagement starts the same way: the job gets done by hand before anything gets automated. Only once it's actually been done does the system get scoped and built — yours outright, nothing glued together from third-party no-code platforms, nothing routing your financial data through tools you don't control.

WHERE THIS IS HEADED

Starting narrow, on purpose

ComptaZen is deliberately starting with one thing: accounting operations for Quebec SMEs, done by someone who's actually done the job. The same method — do it, then build it — extends naturally to the judgment layer next: AI trained on real processes, not theoretical ones.
